★4.7(29)

General Hummer H2 owner feedback — this listing’s exact specs are above.

With an average owner rating of 4.7 out of 5 from nearly 30 reviews, this H2 has proven to be a very reliable and satisfying vehicle for most owners.

Owner reviews consistently praise the H2's spacious interior and commanding driving position, making it a practical choice for large families or anyone who needs to haul gear and people comfortably.

Despite its size, the H2's V8 engine is known for decent durability, and many owners report that with regular maintenance, it easily exceeds 150,000 miles without major issues.

When test-driving, pay close attention to how the engine idles and accelerates—some owners have reported cooling system issues, so check that the temperature gauge stays steady and ask about any coolant leaks or repairs.

Listen for any squealing or grinding when you apply the brakes at various speeds; a few owners have noted brake noise or premature wear, so a pre-purchase inspection of pads and rotors is a good idea.

Take the H2 over some bumps and listen for clunks from the suspension—a handful of owners have had to replace shocks or bushings, but this is an easy thing to verify on a test drive and most examples are fine.
