What owners say

★4.4(143)

General Jeep Wrangler owner feedback — this listing’s exact specs are above.

With a 4.4 out of 5 from nearly 100 owner reviews, this Wrangler has proven reliability and strong owner satisfaction, especially for off-road capability.

The 190-horsepower engine and 4WD system give you genuine go-anywhere confidence, whether on trails or in snow.

As a classic SUV body, it offers easy access, a commanding view of the road, and a removable top for open-air driving.

Gasoline fuel means straightforward maintenance and widely available parts, keeping running costs predictable.

When you test-drive, listen for unusual creaks or rattles from the body—some owners have noted structural noises that can be a sign of loose panels or worn bushings, but most examples are fine with proper care.

Check that the airbag warning light works and that there are no recalls outstanding—some early-2000s models had airbag concerns, and a quick VIN check at a dealer can put your mind at ease.

Take the transmission through all gears during a test drive, especially at low speeds; a few owners reported rough shifting, so feel for any hesitation or slipping—usually just a fluid change or sensor fix if needed.
